RO Antiscalant merges variable products which we cater such as RO Antiscalant (High pH), Antiscalant Chemical, Membrane Antiscalant, RO Antiscalant Chemical. Using RO antiscalant helps to control inorganic scales of calcium, magnesium, barium, stronium, fluoride, iron and silica. RO antiscalant ensures above 80% reduction in scaling tendencies if used continuously. Chemtex's RO antiscalants are very effective antiscalant for waters with langelier saturation index upto +3, iron upto 1.4ppm in reject, silica upto 175ppm (or mg/l), high sdi. RO Membrane Antiscalant is compatible with coagulant mpt 150. Ro antiscalant keeps reverse osmosis system capacity close to design, and minimizes shutdowns and membrane cleaning cost. It aids to minimize the risk of scaling and eliminates disastrous effect on the use of hazardous acids, resulting in efficient plant operation with highest possible conversion rate. RO Antiscalant, offered by Chemtex Speciality Ltd, is effective in dwindling scale formation in presence of foulants like Sulfate salts of Calcium, Calcium Carbonate, Barium, Strontium and Magnesium, Calcium Fluoride, Iron and Silica. Antiscalant for Reverse Osmosis is invulnerable in handing and use with a very high recovery rate of membrane. It is effective at low Chemical dosage and hence economical.

RO Antiscalants are dosed directly to the RO feed water tank or feed water line (after pretreatment) at the recommended dosage of 1-3 mg/L and maximum dosage at 8mg/L, subject to inlet water quality and parameters is respect of Calcium Hardness, Iron, TDS, Alkalinity, pH and silica content. Maximum dilution should be 10% with RO or DI water for temperature less than 30 deg C. For higher temperature the dilution ratio can increase.

RO Antiscalant (High pH)

CHEMTEX'S RO Antiscalant (HIGH PH) is a super-threshold RO membrane antiscalant and antifoulant which is able to stabilize a wide range of supersaturated salt solutions, thereby preventing the precipitation on the membrane surface.

It reduces the risk of scaling and eliminates the use of hazardous acids,resulting in efficient plant operation with highest possible conversion rate.

It is a very effective antiscalant for waters with LSI upto +2.6, Iron upto 1.2ppm in reject, Silica upto 166ppm (or mg/l), High SDI. It is also compatible with ALSTAFLOC series of coagulant and flocculants (polyelectrolytes). CHEMTEX'S RO Antiscalant (HIGH PH) is effective in minimizing scaling in presence of foulants like Calcium Carbonate, Sulfate salts of Calcium, Barium, Strontium and Magnesium, Calcium Fluoride, Iron and Silica.

Application and Dosage
CHEMTEX'S RO Antiscalant (HIGH PH) is dosed directly to the RO feed water tank or feed water line (after pretreatment) at the minimum recommended dosage of 1ppm and maximum dosage at 15ppm, subject to inlet water quality and parameters is respect of Calcium Hardness, Iron, TDS, Alkalinity, pH and silica content.

In case of high iron content of about 0.5 to 1.0ppm, the dosing has to be increased by 10-15ppm for stabilizing Calcium.

At about 10-15ppm dosage CHEMTEX'S RO Antiscalant (HIGH PH) is capable of fully inhibiting iron and calcium, and silica up to 166ppm. For higher silica content ALKRO HS40 should be used.

Handling measures and precautions
Proper human safety products such as Splash goggles, lab coat, vapor respirator, gloves and boots should be worn while handling and applying Chemicals. Splashes on skin should be washed off with water immediately. In case of splashing into the eyes, flush it with fresh water and obtain medical attention. Should not be injected. Antiscalant Chemical

CHEMTEX'S Antiscalant Chemical is made specifically as a general purpose liquid antiscalant/antifoulant for membrane systems. CHEMTEX'S Antiscalant Chemical is characterized by its tight molecular structure, weight range and clear color which indicates the absence of impurities.

CHEMTEX'S Antiscalant Chemical controls fouling of scales of carbonate and sulfate salts of calcium,magnesium,barium and stronium; also iron and colloidal deposits.It is a very effective antiscalant for waters with high LSI and SDI. Slightly effective in high silica water.CHEMTEX'S Antiscalant Chemical keeps membrane permeate flow close to design, and minimizes downtime and membrane cleaning cost.

Application and Dosage
CHEMTEX'S Antiscalant Chemical is dosed directly to the RO feed water tank or feed water line before or after the system cartridge filter. If iron is present in water than antiscalant should be dosed post to prevent excess usage for iron chelation. The minimum recommended dosage of 2ppm and maximum dosage at 20ppm, subject to inlet water quality and parameters is respect of Calcium Hardness, Iron, TDS, Alkalinity, pH and silica content.

High alkalinity and hardness can be controlled by dosing 4-5ppm of product. But in case of high iron content of about 0.5 to 1.0ppm, the dosing has to be increased by 10-15ppm for stabilizing Calcium.

At about 10-15mg/l dosage CHEMTEX'S Membrane Antiscalant is capable of fully inhibiting iron and calcium, and silica upto 217mg/l at pH 7.5. For higher silica content ALKRO HS40 should be used.

It is a highly effective antiscalant for waters with LSI upto +2.6, Iron upto 1.2mg/l in reject, Silica SCR 1.32, High SDI.
