Specifically formulated magnesium based vanadium inhibitor, that prevents high temperature corrosion in raw oil consuming gas turbines. Heavy fuel oil consists up of impurities of Vanadium (as Vanadium pentoxide) and Sodium (as Sodium vanadate), that promotes corrosion at high temperatures, severely affecting valves and turbos of engines, turbines, boiler sides and blades. These compounds remain at liquid state even at temperatures exceeding 300°C. The vanadium inhibitor, when applied to gas turbines and combusted with fuel, inhibits the vanadium induced corrosion by improving the melting point of the ash, that can be taken through smoke / gas.
