The De-rusting and Phosphating chemicals applied as rust resistant in various chemical and refinery industries. Natural rust removers consist of hydrogen peroxide, borax, cream of tartar and baking soda. These are productive in removing rust even when directly applied on rusted iron, steel tools or other surfaces. CHEMTEX'S Rust Remover Can Be Used Neat Or In Dilution of 1:4 Parts Depending Upon The Nature of Rust. It Can Be Applied In Various Ways Such As Brush On Wipe off, Soaking And Filling.

For Heavily Rusted Area It Is Most Ideal To Scrub The Surface And Remove Excess Rust Flakes From The Surface Before Applying CHEMTEX'S Rust Remover. After Derusting Flush The Treated Area With Plenty of Water To Remove Any Acid From The Surface. It Is Most Ideal To Apply Primer After Derusting.

Zinc Phosphating

CHEMTEX'S Zinc Phosphating Is A 3 In 1 Zinc Phosphating Chemical, Used By Immersion Process And Especially Formulated To Remove Oil, Grease, Rust And Simultaneously To Produce A Thin, Uniform Gray Zinc Phosphate Coating On Mild Steel Surface.

CHEMTEX'S Zinc Phosphating Is Effectively Used To Produce Grey Phosphate Coating On Mild Steel Surface Prior To Painting.

Application and Dosage
Initial Bath Make Up
Add 50-60 Ltrs Alstadine M35 For Each 100 Ltr Bath Volume.

Operating Parameter
Concentration - 50-60% By Volume In Water
Contact Time - 15-25 Minutes (depends Upon Surface Condition). Immersion
Temperature -Ambient
Method of Application -Immersion

Application Procedure
Add 50-60 Ltrs CHEMTEX'S Zinc Phosphating For Each 100 Ltrs Bath. Make Up The Volume With Water. Dip The Components For 15-25 Minutes At Room Temperature. Take Out The Sheet/Component From The Bath And Allow The Excess Solution To Drain. Wipe With Dry Cloth To Facilitate Faster Drying. Apply Primer As Early As Possible.

Bath Maintenance
Pipette Out 5 Ml. of Working Solution Into A 250 Ml. Conical Flask. Add 3-5 Drops of Phenolphthalein Indicator. Titrate With 1.0(N) Sodium Hydroxide To A Permanent Faint Pink End Point.

Concentration of CHEMTEX'S Zinc Phosphating (% By Volume)= Ml. of 1.0(N) Sodium Hydroxide X 3.2

Replenishment
To Raise The Concentration Value By 1%(W/V), Add 1.0 Lts CHEMTEX'S Zinc Phosphatingto Each of 100 Ltr Bath Volume.
