RO Membrane Antiscalant
Reverse Osmosis Membrane Antiscalant and Antifoulants are designed to inhibit formation of inorganic scales in membrane separation processes.
ALKRO range of RO Antiscalants and Antifoulants are highly effective on R.O. feed water having a high calcium sulfate scaling potential. It stops crystal growth of calcium sulfate scale, which is extremely difficult to remove once it has formed on an RO membrane. It surpasses the performance of other antiscalants (such as Perma-treat 191 etc. of Nalco) under stressed conditions of high pH. ALKRO antiscalants also effectively stabilizes metal ions to prevent fouling of the membrane.
ALKRO R.O. MEMBRANE ANTISCALANTS are available in low and high pH that enables to adjust the pH of permeate water without adding acid and alkali.

ALKRO antiscalant or antifoulant chemical is normally fed continuously prior to the final cartridge filter. It should be injected by chemical dosing pump from a dilution tank or directly from the drum to the feed water line. The amount of antiscalant or antifoulant required to inhibit scale formation depends on the quality of feed water and size of the membrane system. The specific dosage rates will be specified by the CSL technical representative.Major Benefits
