Calcium Chloride Or Sodium Chloride Brine Corrosion Inhibitor
Brines are very corrosive fluids and cause uniform corrosion and pitting corrosion. This happens because of their high chloride content, brine form hydrogen chloride or HCL acid and cause severe corrosion. Chemtexs specialized brine corrosion inhibitor, successfully minimize corrosion in such high chloride brine system.
Brine water corrosion control chemical prevents corrosion by forming an orgaanic film on the metal surface. It successfully prevents corrosion of carbon steel (LTCS, HTCS), mild steel, stainless steel (of all types), copper and copper alloys.
Chemtex Brine Corrosion Inhibitor helps to prevent following consequences:
1. Leakage or burst in PHEs and tubes due to corrosion.
2. Plugging and clogging of tubes with rust flakes and reduced flow rate
3. Reduced heat transfer
4. Fouling and de-coloring of brine HTF.
The chemical also contains a specific inhibitor to protect copper from corrosion and removes / prevents any sort of scale formation in the system.

Dosage: Closed Loop Corrosion Inhibitor is normally fed continuously to the re-circulating closed system by injection dosing pump or dosed to the expansion tank. The amount of chemical required to inhibit corrosion depends on the type of system and plant operating conditions. The specific dosage rates will be specified by the CSL technical representative.
Major Benefits- Zero or negligible loss of metal or corrosion
- Excellent heat transferability and flow rate
- Long and extended life of Brine without fouling
